Slough v North Greenford

Slough should not have been called of today. We (Beaconsfield f.c) trained on the pitch from1.30 and it was fine!

Clubs don't call matches off, referees do. As for the pitch being "fine", it hasn't been "fine" all season. It's a bloody disgrace.

Ok mr aggressive. If you could read properly then you will see I said the game was called off, not by slough and in regards to the pitch it's played on by both teams, reserves, and youth teams. You should be gratefull Beaconsfield let you ground share you arrogant prixk !

You call me an "arrogant prixk" (interesting spelling) and accuse me of being aggressive?! Oh the irony!

I think you will find the forum does not allow certain spellings moron. All I did was state the game could have gone ahead and you respond with arrogance and slag my club of for no reason. Although having been in many games against slough over the years that does not surprise me.Just out of interest what is your pitch like? Oh you don't have one !

"We (Beaconsfield f.c) trained on the pitch from 1.30 and it was fine" - so does that mean that you have churned it up even more?

The SYCOB pitch is the worse in the leauge, and as for being "gratefull Beaconsfield let you ground share" if Slough were not playing there and PAYING to do so, and the Slough fans handing over their money in the bar and burger hut SYCOB would have gone bust!

As for the pitch being re-laid AGAIN - it looks like that was another waste of money as there are even more cabages this year!

Yossa ..

NOTE ! All matches called off by the referee's in the whole of the Southern League ...ST Neots tried very very hard to get their

game on and failed ... So what make's you think the referee would have allowed the game on at Beaconsfield ? We had an

Inspection and was called off .. It really does not matter (In your option) you thought we could have played !

Slough does not make that decision either !

lets see the facts as i see it,

1/during training you are not as committed to the tackle as in a full game.

2/during training you would not use the complete pitch neccasarily.

3/ the pitch at beaconsfield has for a number of seasons been notorius for the corner near the turnstiles thawing out very very slowly because the trees shade it from the sun.

4/previous games have been called off because the officials at beaconsfield deemed the access roads were to dangerous for people to attend (made no effort to make the access safe for people to use)

5/ there are more knowall slough fans than beaconsfield knowall fans because there are more slough fans full stop.
