Slough v North Greenford

Looking at the pictures .. some parts looked frozen still ... I don't blame Daventry either ...if they were not happy ..and they must not have been happy because their pressure will now make them travel again ..this time mid week ..so the

pitch must have been un playable in parts.

but surely the Referee has the final word !

The pitch was tampered with in my opinion by rubbing a shoe back and fourth until the mud is exposed and this was found to be frozen (which exposed wet mud would) and the referee couldn't exactly say it was safe then, im sure someone has a picture.

Anyway, it was nice to see people rally round and try and get the fixture on but just a shame with the way it was called off.

From what I saw Daventry had no intention of playing, after turning up and before even going on the pitch their heads were down and moaning..Unbelievable the amount that they hassled, surrounded and pressured the young looking ref. Even getting changed before the official postponement.. At least its the first time for a while they aint lost on a Saturday :D

The game should of at least started and see how it went from there

Slough should not have been called of today. We (Beaconsfield f.c) trained on the pitch from1.30 and it was fine!

Clubs don't call matches off, referees do. As for the pitch being "fine", it hasn't been "fine" all season. It's a bloody disgrace.

Ok mr aggressive. If you could read properly then you will see I said the game was called off, not by slough and in regards to the pitch it's played on by both teams, reserves, and youth teams. You should be gratefull Beaconsfield let you ground share you arrogant prixk !

Surely any team is entitled to express concerns about an unfit playing surface? St Neots very clearly wanted the kudos of getting the game on and reading between the lines that seems to have been more important than whether the pitch was actually ok.

You call me an "arrogant prixk" (interesting spelling) and accuse me of being aggressive?! Oh the irony!
