I once played a gig at bognor regis butlins....we were all high as kites when we got on stage and the drummer blew all the sound equipment with his cuban heels....stamped on the main cable which was joined with a bit of tape...

 

the crowd got restless and pelted us with stale pies and soggy chips....

 

never forget that night..we all wore purple velvet suits and frilly shirts...
