although unless we and the club sort the pitch out i assume judging by the forecast that the pitch will be too hard,hopefully i am wrong but with temperatures falling to -5 last night -4c tonight and -5c friday night and not getting above freezing in the day it may be a problem.

Saying that,the sun is supposed to be out today,tomorrow and saturday but not sure it will thaw a possible frozen pitch.

Perhaps we could get as many cars or vans down the club saturday morning and put them on the pitch,another club did it and it worked

I am actually a bit more optimistic,the temp later today should get up to around 4c but dip back below Friday night,it will be sunny on Saturday and upto at least 3-4c so maybe it will be ok,although it's cold and the ground will be hard we haven't had the sharp frost we usually get

I went to bed at 3am and it was -5c,looked like frost was forming,got up at 9am and nothing,am sure the ground is hard but i reckon with the sun and a bit of luck the game will go ahead.
