First game i'm attending

Finally i'm getting myself and a few mates to the game this sat again North Greenford Utd, few of you may remember i posted a year or two ago that i'd like to start going but due to work commitments ect it has not gone to plan.

 

I've got a couple of questions, i know where the ground is, i presume there is parking close/next to the ground? plus what should i expect ticket price wise.

 

May even get a shirt (IF sue is around?)

glad to have you along, but keep an eye on here to check wether the game is posponed due to the weather. there is plenty of parking either in the car park or on the access road leading up to the ground,or in the overflo car park in the field opposite the normal car park (on the other side of the access road). tickets are £8 normally and sue is generally there on match days of which i'm sure she will confirm, hopfully see you there.

Yes, the access road is opposite the services entrance.

Yeah if it's on, the weather being freezing cold makes me think it'll get called off due to frozen pitch

Nice one TNTom. First game is always the best. Fingers crossed it doesn't get postponed due to the weather though. Make sure you check on here before you leave or the twitter page incase it is postponed.

Hope it's on, but temperatures not supposed to go above zero all day Saturday around Beaconsfield.

At least that's warmer than the -9 in Sussex this morning when I was driving to work.

8.30 on a very cold and frosty morning. My sons footie training already called off.. don't hold out much hope for the Game today. We've really pushed our luck weather wise, so I guess one postponement isn't the end of the world.

I'm still thinking of going to my first game. Considering the playoff final if Slough end up in it. Got quite a long way to travel but some of my family live in London so it's possible I'll be able to come down for the game.
