Should point out I copied the above from SWP Phil on the another NLM Forum. Hope he doesn't object.

 

On the proposals to increase league places to 24 TPL at Steps 3 and 4, I can't see that being too major a problem as the Football League and Conference Premier seem to do ok with them (does this mean 24 teams at Step 2 as well?)

 

Hopefully Step 6 Leagues can be 'fattened up' as well - especially the Hellenic which is borderline skeletal at times. Clubs like Tuffley, Harrow Hill, Kintbury, Chipping Norton and Wallingford have been lost from the Hellenic in recent years, which is a shame as they all have good Step 6 facilities.
