Any updates in games tonight?

Our ressies losing 3-0 away to Bradwell who appear to be fielding a strong team made up of a lot of 1st teamers if not all. They're res lost 8-1 last week. Good challenge for our youngsters

This about an Ampthill game, what's Padbury FC go to do with it?

Its got everything to do with it, you seem to forget that Ampthill Town are just Padbury United in disguise

Apologies for lack of updates tonight but I have only just got home

Dunstable 0 - 1 Arlesey, Sinclair's shot ended up at the feet of Broughton who managed to keep onside to slot it passed the keeper.

GOAL 75': Leverstock Green 2 St Albans 1. Griggs cross, Pritchard hits post, Junior nets the rebound.

Dunstable 1 - 1 Arlesey. Player let back on the pitch into the run of play who gives Dunstable an extra man to go on and score.

Dunstable Town v Arlesey Town goes to extra time.

Dunstable 2 - 1 Arlesey, a penalty given for obviously something only the ref saw as both teams are left puzzled. But it was put away well.

Dunstable 2 - 2 Arlesey. Great passing play sees the ball end at Coles feet for him to put it away.

Dunstable Town v Arlesey Town ends 2-2 after extra time - Penalty shoot-out required

Dunstable Town win the penalty shoot-out

Ampthill town 0 London colney 0

Has to be one of the most entertaining 0 0 draws that i have seen.Played on a hard frosty pitch, the first half was very even in terms of possesion , Colney possibly had the better chances. The second half was one way traffic in favour of Ampthill , Apart from a couple of breakaways colney really did'nt know what had hit them with Ampthills one or two touch football, all we lacked was a little luck in front of goal. I thought we would get our just rewards in the last minute with a penalty awarded for handball. The keeper made a brilliant save with what turned out to be the last kick of the game. You could tell by the Colney celebrations that it was them that were more pleased with the result. Judging by tonights game, it will still be very tight at the top between these two teams come the end of the season.

Res lost to New Bradwell 1st team 3-0 but acquitted themselves well apparently

New Bradwell did the same to AFC Dunstable in season 2008-9 when they played their 1st team and beat us 3-0 in the run in part of the season. 2 weeks later we played their proper reserves and won 5-2. We still feel that game cost us the title.

The league should limit how many 1st team players can play for the reserves. Apparently Crawley Green did the same to Oxhey Jets in the last game of last season, which cost them the league.

Yeah I would agree and you've got to wonder how all the guys who regularly play for the res who were left out feel?

I'm not sure if they do it on purpose, its just they probably cannot fill a team but it still does not make it fair and right.

Also note, they will always be midweek games.
