Any planned meetings of C.C.L.Premier Clubs to discuss and maybe vote on the proposed restructuring proposals put forward by the F.A.The U.C.L.League held one and voted against.Out of 20 Clubs,19 voted against,1 abstained.

Are the FA holding a vote on it ?

G.F.of course not,but at least Clubs within Leagues should be able to vote surely. And as only 7 Clubs were represented at Thurrock for whatever reason,15 others must have views. For all I know they may all be in favour of the break up of a great League, some may benefit by the changes.Who knows!!!DO YOU.

My point being Smudge that if the FA aren't holding a vote, with the result binding, then it doesn't really matter what the Leagues & it's member Clubs think. In my view it's a "fait accompli" - the decision has already been made. As far as the CCL is concerned I don't see it as breaking up - it will continue with a different mix of Clubs under a slightly different name.

What is more important is the competence and ability of the officials and administrators that are in charge of whatever League. I can not comment on the CCL as I have absolutely no experience of administrators and officials elsewhere. All I have to go on is heresay and this forum. As long as the best people available are in charge then isn't that what really matters and not the reduction of 14 leagues to 12?

A meeting of all clubs in the League has been arranged for Thursday 16 February, commencing 7.45 p.m. at The Hythe Centre, Thorpe Road, Egham Hythe, Surrey, TW18 3HD for the purpose of discussing the proposed FA re-structure at Steps 5 & 6.

Each club can send at least one but no more than two delegates to the meeting.
