What a fantastic game, the lads did us proud.

As this was such a great effort from them as you can see have included a few more choices, as a special one off :D

To close on Friday lunchtime.

What a great game of football a great advert for non league football. I will have to disagree with you ramsgate builder I know a couple of fans who fleet between ramsgate and margate and have been really impressed with what they have seen at margate in recent weeks and the news on the ground. aswell as a couple of regulars at southwood who have become disillusioned by the direction of the club under jim Ward and laughable suggestions by Richard Lawson about a new ground. How long has it taken margate to get one!

A great game - Charlton lads looked really fit but it should have gone to extra time with a last minute pen - it was right in front of me and was clear - why the lino didn't see it is a mystery. Emailed Matt Davison at Radio Kent when I got in because I keep moaning about them not previewing our fixtures in their sports roundups during the day and he doesn't seem to get the point - told him about the pen shout and he replied and said it wasn't in the info he got from the club ? Hope we made plenty of money from it last night - a good idea to have the plastic glasses for the beer so they could go outside and free up the bar for more paying customers. Catering is so important for revenue these days - but why no pies ? All football grounds should have pies shouldn't they ? The ones at Wigan, Rochdale, Fleetwood all really good (maybe it's a Northern thing ?) Old Trafford had only 7% meat though and was rip off rubbish

As expected, a win for the team but if it had been individual, Matt would have won again, with the rock called John Beales close behind.
