I'm bloody sure he's off to Chelsea. This story just won't go away.

 

He has admitted himself that he's missing club football. He has failed to enhance his previously very good reputation as a manager since coaching England, and this Rio crap will prove to be the last straw.

 

Win, lose or draw, he'll quit after the Turkey game. Can't see him hanging on for the Summer. It's still eight months til the Euro, and it's possible that, should we get to Portugal, we may only play three games out there.

 

Can't see him passing up the Chelsea job for that.

Leaving Pleat in the job or bringing in some first time on the way up young manager (other than Hughes) or discarded too often old sweat would allow the "we are building a 5 year development" crap

Surprised Spurs didn't go for Coppell, maybe wouldn't have been too popular with the fans.

 

Anyway, watching Sky Sports News, Sven's manager Athol Still (sounds like a malt whisky!) has just said he has never talked to Chelsea and there is no pre-contract agreement.

 

That's it then, he's off!
