Guernsey FC v Eversley Highlights ( Due to demand ! )

Recommended Posts

Get over it, the decision has been and gone and you're still on about it!!!

At the end of the day a pen was given (correctly or not - IMO I don't think it was from the view above). At our game we had a much more obv looking pen not given and a player received a second yellow for alleged diving. Correct or not we had to get on with it.....which we did.

Its not me who's going on about it its people asking me to put the incident on the site due to Channel TV deleting the footage from their site. Next time I won't bother helping out !

Well done G.D. for posting the T.V.Coverage,thought Tony Vance was very controlled in his response Post Match.Your get used to Jurgs,he only posts,to criticise people.

I was told by the player that he thought he had been fouled and showed me a cut on his leg. I think he genuinely believed he had been and the video shows that the poor pitch surface lead to his standing leg giving way, rather than a dive (as was suggested by many). Also said I'd be interested to see the video to confirm whether it was a penalty or not.

Interesting that the highlights didn't want to have a closer look at the 2nd yellow........think that answers the question of whether it was harsh or not.

Also where is our 2nd goal?

Good footage though and thanks to Ross for uploading on here.

BBC coverage showed all the goals.

Thought it was probably a yellow card

Will look again at the violent conduct one as I missed it.

I never said he dived, thought at the time he had tripped over, telling was no player appealled for the penalty.a

So you agree no there was no contact by our player therefore no penalty.

They missed Ross Allens 2nd as well lol I don't know why they didn't show them..

That seem pretty clear you are still going on about it!

It was much appreciated as I was the one who said your original link didn't have the football! I've not said anything about you taking your time out to put it on Youtube though, so put your toys back in your pram!

It took me about an hour and a half to get that recorded and uploaded to youtube !

Next time I won't bother helping out !

Won't bother helping out ?....Wo Wo hold on there GD, was it not you who said to wait until the TV highlights are out. Now the highlights weren't shown on the link so you downloaded the highlights for YOU to prove a point it wasn't a penalty.....thats the real reason you downloaded !!!!

BYW the pitch didn't look that good, probably 'cos of the rugby ? I'm surprised the pitch wasn't the blame for losing.......ha ha !!!

I didn't realise that there were constant earthquakes on Guernsey

I thought the last one was around 30 June 1940, Steve ?

Can't see the ref's position but I bet from many angles it looked an odds-on penalty in that split second although the slow-mo shows otherwise. Good job we don't have trial by TV though otherwise the Guernsey player right at the end of the clip would be serving a 3-match ban for violent conduct - nobody has moaned about the ref getting that one wrong though !

It was only a push, a 3-match ban for violent conduct would have been a tad harsh.

Get used to harsh then as raising your hands to that height will get an automatic red from a lot of ref's. And I'm afraid it is violent conduct as it's pre-meditated ie happens well after the initial tackle and uses a forceful motion against the opposition player.

I see 'Enemy at the Door' is currently being repeated on 'Yesterday'. BJR was probably on the island in those days :bolt:

Set in Guernsey, filmed in Jersey!
