Its teaming down where I am, so just wondering if any games will be called off this evening ?

 

As my intention is to go tonight, Tempest, Egg&ham, what is the deadline you have to advise Guernsey if the game is on or postponed ?

GFC usually fly out on the 2.30 flight, so a decision has to be made pretty soon as players will have the half-day booked off work etc.

HKP the problem is that we had no rain for a few days, so at this moment in time, the pitch is probably playable as Eghams is a decent one, but IF it continues to rain the pitch may well be flooded later moreover, if it stops raining obviously the game will proceed... its a tricky one, its not as if you're Hanworth Villa, Feltham, Spelthorne Sports who are within close proximity so decision can be made as late as possible.

Looking at this rain I will be surprised if the game is on, but im sure Egham will do all they can to make it happen, as it will not suit Guernsey to play there football on a wet boggy pitch.

It's stopped raining in Slough now, so hopefully it is the same just down the road in Egham and the game will go ahead for all involved.

Rain in Sutton has stopped, though it hasn't been too heavy here.

Just looked at rainfall satellite and rain has virtually cleared the south east as of 1pm.

Egham area has stopped now!

If the pitch is OK at 1.15pm, there is no more rain to put the game in doubt.
