STAN WATERS - DORKING F.C.

Many of you will know Stan Waters, one of our Vice Presidents, and long serving serving Committee Member.

 

The club has just learnt this afternoon that Stan was admitted to East Surrey Hospital, Redhill on Thursday where he is undergoing tests in the Surgical Assessment ward.

 

Peter Buckland has visited him this afternoon and it is hoped that he will be released sometime tomorrow evening. Bucks will collect him.

 

I'm sure we all wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to his return to Meadowbank.

Being part of the Bookham management team during the last couple of seasons i got to know Stan pretty well on most saturdays before a game and we all at the club wish him all the best and hope he has a speedy recovery. A good man with passion for both clubs at the meadowbank.

UPDATE.

 

Stan has been kept in East Surrey Hospital for a further couple of days for observation.

 

Hopefully, he will be discharged toda. I spoke to Bucks this morning, and he's awaiting a phone call from the hospital.

well thats a lot better news than I expected reading the title, and knowing he was not at the club Saturday, all the best Stan!
