I'm very dissapointed that fans from so many clubs have found the need to insult our club after our first home defeat.

 

Please be aware that Guernsey is not only our club but our country. Imagine if we came on here insulting England ! ( Which we would never do as we support England in football ).

 

I looked into this as I'd not heard it described as such before and I think it's actually a Crown Dependency (as in the British Crown) not a country. Or maybe you were just using 'country' as shortland. :)

I think the point he was trying to make is that its like our national team, closeset thing we have to it. We are as you say independent from the UK, but sworn our allegience to HM The Queen.
