VERY Disappointed with the reaction to Guernsey's loss on Forum and Twitter

and no fixtures over Christmas or new year. No one else had these given to them.

Good luck on Tuesday

Actually I think the lack of fixtures is partly to blame for recent performances. You also have to remember that clubs did not want to travel to Guernsey over the festive period. This was NOT done at the request of GFC.

GD what an absolute tw*t you are mate. I for one certainly won't miss your blinkered and biased posts about GFC, perhaps with you now gone the forum won't be dominated by talk of GFC as I know a large number of posters have had enough of the majority if threads being about GFC.

I am over the moon that Eversley inflicted your first defeat at Footes Lane this season, and personally I don't care how they won!! Time for a reality check for GFC - I also predict that you will lose on Tuesday at Egham....look forward to hearing what excuses you will come up with then?!

Eversley are a good footballing team with good players and experienced managers and coaches. I saw the game where you beat them 2-1 earlier in the season and you didn't deserve to win that game! I think you are doing Eversley an injustice, they came over with a plan and it worked.....why can't you accept that you were simply beaten by the better team in the day.

I still believe that you will win Div 1 although Bedfont do now have a glimmer of hope. I also think you will do well in the Prem but GD you need to learn how to deal with defeat and to show some respect when you do lose, let's face it you ain't going to win every game. Put your dummy back in mate, you've shown your true colours on here.

Hey Chubby you forgot to mention all the coverage they get on the CCL site, more than any other single club in both divisions. The CCL couldn't do more for them. No wonder some clubs voted against them joining, they don't offer a great deal. Maybe duty free on your travels I guess!!

Maybe they should stop forking out for the mainland teams to come over and play then. If you think they don't offer a great deal.

I'm not a GFC Fan, but reading this crap on here, makes me laugh. How many other posts are on here, complaining about the officials. GD won't be the first or the last. But you want to cruxify him, because of that. Just shows how pathetic you are to get into anything that's GFC related.

Thanks for the support britman :)

I thought it was a condition of Guernsey'a acceptance that they paid for travel for the opposition?

The way britman has put it, it looks as though they have a choice. Can anyone confirm?

Will be intrigued to see what the full match report from This Is Guernsey says as the first part of it is posted on the newspaper website with the following:

GUERNSEY FC suffered their first competitive home defeat on Saturday as Eversley shocked Footes Lane with a deserved 3-2 victory in the Combined Counties League Division One.

Surely if the ref was that bad, it would have been mentioned? Can anyone from Guernsey say if the match report slates the ref as much as the fans??

So why didn't you travel then? We have already been told that you will have to next year

Let this numpty throw his toys out the pram then let him pick them up and go cry into his blanky, what a F'in Plank.

G.D you won't be missed hundreds think it i will say it.

Sorry I seem to of exhausted your vocabulary. Think about it Richard Head, why should everyone else play except your team, home or away? Why have you got 6 home games back to back? How would Bedfont like this bearing in mind the league table. There is a great deal going in your favour so when you get beat don't moan. I've never seen anyone else moan like you lot over loosing a game, Tw-t

At the end of the day everyone has the same number of home and away fixtures in a season, so I don't really see how your point is valid. I'm pretty sure Bedfont weren't complaining when Guernsey had more away fixtures pre-christmas.

Because we werent asked too! No Christmas fxitures was not done at the request of Guernsey! it was done as no manland clubs wanted to travel here over the Festive period. I am getting a bit fedup of having to repeat this. Whitelaw posted this information originally and added that he thought IF Guernsye had been asked to play they would have fulfilled the fixture without any fuss.

W.P.F.C. No1,You should of read the match report on your game, highly complimentary NOT.

I don't think that the report is critical of the referee.

It continually mentions that in the eyes of the fans his decisions were incorrect but that is no surprise

Obviously I wasn't at the game but I believe Mr Fish to be an honest and extremely competent referee

I dont see what all the hype or upset is about. Everyone has been praying and waiting for the day guernsey lose at home, so you can all jump on it and stick your fingers up...on the back of that are Guernsey not allowed to defend themselves? As any normal club would. Just let them move through the league, accept there gonna go up and let em go about there business. It's really not that much of an issue.
