A WORD OF WARNING.

 

I strongly suggest that posters on this forum curb making strong posts regarding particular officials on this web-site.

 

It might just bounce back and bite you in the bum really hard. Colour, race or sexual orientation has nothing to do with the equation.

 

We've ALL seen officials making 'bad' descisions - Live with it. As they say, SH1T HAPPENS !

Totally agree, but one poster does keep mentioning black officials and Guernsey, still await a reply as to why.

Personally, don't care what colour skin they are, or their sexual orientation as this has bugger all to do with their ability to referee a match,

One of the best referee's I've seen in the CCL over the last 3 years had dreadlocks, I think his name is Remi ? - One can only assume that because of his performaces he was promoted to a higher level at the end of last season ! I wish him well, he always talked to players and seemed to have fun with them defusing any potential problem........

Sorry BJR, but if a ref has had a SH1T game then I can't see what's wrong with saying it. Every game will feature officials making incorrect/questionable decisions, which is inevitable just as the strilker missing a sitter or Redrup shanking it or whatever but if they are shocking for the whole game it's going to be noted!

Was that Reuben Simon ? Always had the potential to go higher and I believe he got promoted last season.

Did the line for us against Tonbridge the other day....

Sorry BJR, but if a ref has had a SH1T game then I can't see what's wrong with saying it. Every game will feature officials making incorrect/questionable decisions, which is inevitable just as the strilker missing a sitter or Redrup shanking it or whatever but if they are shocking for the whole game it's going to be noted!

 

Yes I agree, it even happens at the highest level. Managers slate referees live on Sky TV all the time.It might not be right but in the heat of the moment they do it

This is my 1st season on this fourm and up till now has been entertaining, informative and enjoyable but over the last couple of weeks it has become teaduss and boring. The site use to be about ccl now it seemed to be taken over by gurnsey and nice guy. You lost at weekend get over yourself and move on any chance involving some good info bout rest of the teams

 

Anybody from any club is welcome on the forum to post about their club and express their views. Its just that Guernsey have had such a big impact on the league that everyone is talking about us, we can't help that !.

 

Our gates are huge by CCL standards and we bring lots of supporters to away games. Also fans from other teams come and watch us play away. There is a Reading fan who I know of who will be making his 4th visit to watch us play at Egham Town in the Premier cup on Tuesday.

 

I'm all for threads and topics not being about Guernsey, it might take some of the heat off of us !

There is a Reading fan who I know of who will be making his 4th visit to watch us play at Egham Town in the Premier cup on Tuesday.

........... and sometimes end up getting fined for it, which was my original point !

 

If you really think a referee is diabolical, then ensure your club mark him down low-enough to create an enquiry, though not a course of action I would care to go down !
