Just got in from a decent day out to read all the waffle from some posters who have slated the Officials in the games they have lost today.V.P.C.T.F.C,,Guernsey Donkey,and one other hold your heads in shame.Reason neither of you have named this despot in your posts.Guernsey f.c. and Camberley f.c. have no divine right to win any game.Well done Eversley and Horley Town for turning over the form book.The above mentioned teams have no divine right to win every game they play,but they think they have.Most of the posters on here need a reality check,you are so blinkered in your opinions,that in my eyes they do not count.I am slowly losing my passion for this Forum,and the bullshit many spout.WORDS MEAN NOTHING TO MANY POSTERS.PROMISE THIS AND PROMISE THAT.But the proof of the pudding is in the eating,when most of you cannot support a Charity event on 3 occassions to raise much needed funds for less fortunate people than ourselves.lET ALONE BUY A GOLD MEMBERSHIP to help fund this great forum.Mr.F COLLINS AND MR.D JONES ARE THE ONLY DUFF REFS IN THIS LEAGUE,which i named earlier in the season,check to see how many games they have reffed since.The best refs in this League are BLACK,how many I wonder have been to Guernsey I ASK,

We have had one black ref in Guernsey actually, he was a good ref. But the colour of the skin of a ref doesn't make them good or bad you prune !

 

So Smudge its a case of the pot calling the kettle black here.

 

I am a gold member unlike you ! so where do you get the front to tell people to buy one when you haven't got one yourself !

 

It is not sour grapes we had Mr Brian Fish away at Bookham and he was just as rubbish then ! We won that game NOT SOUR GRAPES ! I just don't know how this man is allowed to referee. I wouldn't let him referee kids down the park !

So a artical from 2002 and this preformance that you witness suddenly makes him unfit to ref at any level. I'd rather have a ref for 9 or more years having a bad game now and again rather than not at all then possibly struggling to get someone to officiate the game. We all know some refs have bad games now and again and I very highly doubt its deliberate but you take the rough with the smooth, put this one to bed and carry on winning as he wont be the last one you feel may have cost you a game on your journey.

We all know for a fact that the CCL read this site so maybe they will look into your comments. Your club also score him on the day and I'm not 100% certain but if the score is below a certain % or score then you also put in a report for them to look into it. Again I'm not sure but it's based on his interpretation and application of the rules

perhaps when you look at his past refereeing you might realise that he's not that bad at all!

Beat me to it Jellyjumbo. I was about to suggest that Mr Fish has officiated at a higher level than Guernsey are likely to attain in the near future. I can certainly remember him from the Isthmian Premier and was fairly certain he went Football League {haven't read the link above]. If he's had a bad day at the office then so be it - [****!!****] happens - but his history speaks for itself and above all else he's also part of the panel of people appointed by the FA to carry out ground-grading inspections so it's always wise not to be too voiciferous in denegrating those who can effect your future !
