Hi All,

 

Some of you will know, I didn't grow up in the area and now live even further away but I have a question or two about football in Kent in general.

 

Obviously MFC play in a national set up but also compete locally/regionally.

 

Can anyone tell me what these regional tournaments are and how seriously they are taken? I see there is alot of history in various Kent competitions.

 

I also noticed that Charlton were playing in the Kent cup. When did Charlton become part of Kent? Did they move for a better county cricket opportunity?
