Not going anywhere for now , great news for Gate fans but does this now mean if he keeps scoring his price tag will rise and make us the Man City of the Ryman League . On a serious note though im glad he is staying well for now at least maybe till the end of the season . We have a special guy at Margate so lets look after him and give him a big cheer if he turns out for us on Saturday .

Good news for us but not the lad.I hope having had his hopes built up like that he will be able to get his feet back on the ground for the rest of the season.i would hate to see him undo all the tremendous work he has done so far.He has improved his back to goal play considerably since the start of the season and some credit for this must go to the management. If he continues to listen and learn he will surely move on in the summer to greater things by when you never no new stadium and new higher league!!!

I would also add that although he has scored the goals the team is not one man only. The lads have done well to create the opportunities. We have a solid base with a team which is much fitter than last year.We would have lost at Aveley and at home to Concord last year. If he moves i am sure we will rebuild and cope.

I could not stand seeing him in orange!! Blue is the colour!!!

well i certainly hope another club does come in for him pdq.

I think this is bad news-particularly for the club.

The first profit is usually the best profit.

Will his head be right from now on ?

what if he gets injured ?

Does it show a slight lack of ambition on the players behalf.

all will go to de-value any future fee-feel sorry for the club-never mind promotion- £50-£100K would have substantially helped secured the club for a couple of years-other players feel there is 'certainty of wages'so you get better players at the club, and sustainability.

Kwesi is superb-but he is only one player-even if he left-there is no reason why the club could still not be after that promotion slot.

Just hope there is another club waiting in the wings.

bad news for MFC this one.

what if he gets injured now ?

Just hope we don't get another NO on tonights vote which is an much bigger matter than the kwesi one.

Up the 'Gate

Another optimistic contribution. Good to see your ambitious for the club. IFwe hold onto Kwesi we have got a good chance of the play offs. This club should be in Conf South. Money would have been useful but the club seems to be in a sound financial position under the stewardship of Cliff. Lets push on, Success brings in the crowds and sponsorship and with a new ground it is onwards and upwards hopefully with Kwesi..

I'd say that the pubicity that Appiah has recently had will get a few extra through the gate. I've heard a few local sunday footballers talking about him. I think there is a lot of local interest in him for pure footballing entertainment. After all we all like watching good footballers.

I think Kwesi is being advised badly by his 'agent' or 'advisor' (whatever you want to call him)

all these things Kwesi is quoted to of said probably arent even coming from him but from his agent who has close ties with sky sports.

His agent works on behalf of Colton Cole, Guy Demel, Demba Ba, Kolo Toure (amongst others) so why he deals with Kwesi I don't know..maybe he has known Kwesi for a long time..(??)

I just feel a bit sorry for him being advised badly..

But he is still a Margate player which is great! Onwards and upwards!

Kwesi is fantastic-but i believe there are 20 or so other players at the club and a good management team inCK and JL.

Many of them help him with 'assists'.

Maybe not as successfully but there are others who could get somewhere close to filling his shoes.

we all see things differently-but i believe that the biggest foundation for growth is attinable with a sound financial footing.

Yep -things seem improved-but i'm sure £50 k or so would help everyone along to build sustainable growth (and maybe enable the purchase of a quality midfield player to make more chances for someone else to convert as and when Kwesi leaves.
