No sour grapes the best team on the day won. With a pitch like that our lads found it difficult to adapt,certainly not easy to play football on it. It's a shame we couldn't have drawn the game as i would fancy an Ampthill victory on a decent pitch.I know at least one person on this forum will say it's the same for both teams,but they are used to playing on a ploughed field,and it suited them.Good luck Oadby in the next round maybe you will get another home draw.

Well, shame the dream is over for this year for Ampthill and Royston - just the luck of the draw getting away games but must encourage all SSML Clubs what you've both achieved so roll on next year!

Amersham have been very poor after an initial bright first few weeks. I heard the U18's manager has taken on 1st team at new Bradwell

Very poor game but a welcome 3pts......ref was a joke - 2 sending offs and numerous bookings in a game, although short on quality, didnt have a bad tackle throughout.....even Baby Keepz found his way into the notebook!
