Disappointed that the "management" thread has been pulled. Understand that the comments that were being made should have been kept in-house. But I thought - that the purpose of this forum was to create debate, which the "management" thread clearly did. What is did do was to introduce a few new 'posters' and stimulate alot of chat and views. At lot of comments on this forum are negative to either opposition players, other clubs, club management or officials, where was this different from others. So why did you have it removed Smudge?

I imagine it was removed because whoever nice guy is clearly registered some more log in's and created a situation between them all

Skimmed through it at lunchtime, seemed harmless enough if not a little pointless. Maybe something happened after that? If not, can't see why it should be pulled. Locked maybe but not pulled.

Be nice to know why it was pulled, bad advert for the club concerned but dont see how it broke any rules of the forum?

A complaint may have put in to Ian in which case he doesn't really have a choice but to remove it. Agree with most on here though as it seemed harmless enough. Interesting to see what comes of it and if the Sandhurst players think they got something out of posting on here.

Complaining that players were voicing their concerns? I dont think here was the correct place but defend their right to do so. Shame Admin cant just give a reason why, we might not agree but we would at least know why.

I agree but whatever it causes embarrasment to Sandhurst so i'm sure they didn't want that thread up so maybe asked for it be removed. I'm just speculating though. Would have been nice to see how it would have panned out

If one user had multiple names and one email address it was not an expression of players (maybe player) concerns. This forum I believe is not here for trouble makers to stir things up, but there for true dialogue about things happening around.

If there are multiple posters, proven to all have the same ISP, then surely, the answer is for a block to be put on that ISP ?

All they would need to do is to reboot their router and get an new IP address. A lot of ISP's still dont offer fixed IP addresses.

And multiple people can be on the same IP - everyone at my work is on the same one for example.

Well it is but that doesn't mean the same thing as what you are saying. We may not agree that the thread was pulled but the site is owned by Ian_W and it's up to him to do what he wants. He pays the bills and he has the ultimate responsiblity for the site's content.

I fully understand that, and if there was bad language or violent conduct shown in anyway then I would be behind it being removed, but it has been removed on what basis? It was the clubs own players making the comments, not random acts from the general public, is it a rule that players are not allowed to speak ill of there club then? I dont believe it should have been done on here at all, the players should have kept it in house, but didn't. But that was there own choice?

Problem is there has been trouble before with posts on here. No swearing or offensive language but a situation where Ian was being put under pressure to remove things.
