Fans' Forum arranged for 26th January (DOH!)

Applaud the club for arranging this so soon after the vital vote.

Appreciating that those on the inside track-club officials and council - have a lot more idea of what will occur on thursdays 'vote'- i am a bit surprised that this forum has been arranged quite so quickly.

Does it imply that there is a pretty good steer from within as to which way thursdays vote will go.

In particular-as most of us know the plans, and 'ground contingency ' plans if/when building commences;does this forum suggest that in fact there is an associated 'issue' related to the development outside of what actually transpires this thursday night ?

Hopefully its just my concerned inner self thinking that-and the reason for the prompt meeting is in reality that club ,players and supporters wish to share love ,joy and excitement at the forum.

Just hope we are all going forward .

I just hope the club aren't jumping the gun on this,or assuming too much as the vote on Thursday is hanging in the balance as far as I can see. One game at a time, isn't that the norm? Nothing can be taken for granted with whichever party is running this council. In fact it is the opposition parties mainly & moreso, that we need to come good on the night.

Am biting finger nails awaiting this vote but lets hope we do get a positive ending to all this & that supporters turn up in numbers THIS TIME to show their support on the night.10 years of waiting will come to a head once & for all on Thursday night & this will be our last chance to show our support for this project to the council.

Sadly I cant make the 26th due to work commitments but I am damned sure I ain't gonna miss being there this Thursday night.

I wanna see for myself who votes for us,who has pledged their 100% support for this yet vote the other way, or on the other hand vote accordingly, who conveniently goes sick etc.

"If" we win this vote I also want to be the first to congratulate the marathon man himself & the one most important man to have had a hand in this throughout & he dosen't need naming. You all know who I am referring too.But it's still a big "IF" in my book.

PLEASE, Can we have a "massive" supporters attendance this time for this vote at the council offices on Thursday of this week,19th,7pm.

Come on!... lets fill that gallery & more.

Lets give this one last shot! Kwesi may have had his last shot in a blue shirt but we need to give this our best shot of the season.

No one is jumping the gun Tony. There will be issues to talk about whatever the Council's decision so the directors want to take the earliest opportunity to do that with supporters.

Dangerously thinking aloud-IF IF IF thursday goes our way-i wonder whether there may be (nice ) issues re: the build insofar as whilst ryman has sanctioned temp use of a 2 sided ground-IF IF play offs were reached-and IF IF we won them-maybe the conference would NOT endorse a temp. 2 sided ground so promotion would not occur.

Loads of IFS there-so lets hope thursday goes ok first.

frankly-i'm not sure infrastructure is ready for bss anyway-so if it took a further 12 months to get there-maybe in long run a good thing.

So am i correct in interpreting the above post that, if if if the development were to commence and if if if the club were to get promotion for next season, the conference would be happy with a two sided (albeit) short term ground without further sanction ?

Surely, IF IF IF we get the go ahead tonight, we will have been 5 - 6 months into the build by the time next season starts. When we were originally going to start, the whole project needed to be complete by December. The builders state that they speacialise in puitting up their projects in quick time.

Perhaps the most important thing here is that the 26th is the day before my birthday.

Not important you are thinking but my Dad will be reading this - Please don't call until after 9pm my time - I'm doing a Judo grading on the Friday.

Thanks, that is all
