A message from Windsor FC;

Tony Buss was the driving force behind Hanworth Villa for many years and was a highly respected club man. Sadly, he passed away on 19th December 2011. His passing has left a void and in recognition of his work with the club, Windsor FC have decided to mark his passing at our forthcoming fixture next weekend.

 

The Windsor FC squad and management will be wearing black armbands as a sign of respect and prior to kick off captain Ryan Parsons will present an engraved silver salver to the Hanworth Villa captain in recognition of Tony Buss' commitment and dedication to Hanworth Villa.

I know that it's taken us a while to respond, but to be honest we've been a bit stunned by this fantastic gesture, especially from a club that we have no history with (no matter what they've been called).

 

Tony was indeed very special to our club and, judging by the many hundreds that turned up at his funeral, he was to a lot of people. Thanks to all of you for your messages of support and thanks again to Windsor. Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday and to introducing you to your first "Ranch experiance". You'll find me in the "Ugly Corner" as usual.
