Winslow Fox
Best of Luck to both Royston Town and Ampthill Town in the FA Vase, You've done yourselves and the SSML proud!! You will have the backing of Winslow United and am sure the rest of the SSML are fully behind you!! I've got a good feeling about both matches and am sure you will both fully enjoy your weekends!! patemondo
Royston to draw 2-2 and win replay 3-1 Ampthill to lose 3-0 Good luck to both sides
Rhodes
Ampthill Town is a harder one to call A lot depends on which Ampthill Town turn up on the day, we saw a different side to them when they lost 1-0 at Crawley Green in October however if they play like they did against the three Essex Senior League sides and Lancing en route to this stage of the FA Vase then anything is possible

Rhodes
What did you think of my prediction, Oadby Town 36 Ampthill Town 0, depending on which Ampthill Town turn up on the day
The Doog is King
I am banking on 2 draws with 2 bumper replays to look forward to. I have this sneaking feeling that Ampthill are going to take Oadby by surprise......

I have this sneaking feeling that Ampthill are going to take Oadby by surprise...... Good luck to both Royston and Ampthill.I have a good feeling for Royston but not so much for Ampthill, as must be underdogs due to Oadby doing well at step 5 and having home advantage. Hope I am wrong.
tringarmy
Latest odds here for winning the Vase - come on the underdogs Oadby 18/1 Bournemouth 20/1 Royston 33/1 Ampthill 40/1 http://www.skybet.co.../t10000161.html I'm predicting Royston to go through but possibly after a replay but think it will be a step too far for Ampthill (but would love to be proved wrong) Good luck to both teams
The Watchfull Listener
How can a step 6 side (Oadby 18/1) and a team 9th in their division (Bournemouth 20/1) have massively better odds than a team who have the third best record in all step 5 football and be top of their division (Royston 33/1) Edited January 18, 2012 by The Watchfull Listener

ref off ref
For Craig and a lot of the boys the Vase this season is a whole new adventure, a majority were playing step 7 last season so whats been achieved to date is nothing short of amazing. Oadby with their ex-pro's and home advantage will obviously start as favourites, but anyone who scoffs at Ampthills record this season to date are playing a dangerous game. If we stand back and admire them then we could be in trouble, get amongst them though, and start playing our game and we've as much chance as anyone, let's hope it's the latter of the two. Royston v Ampthill Final anyone????....never say never. LOL
Rhodes
I am banking on 2 draws with 2 bumper replays to look forward to If Royston draw at Bournemouth and get a comfortable looking home draw in the Fifth Round on Monday I wonder what the attendance at Garden Walk will be on Tuesday evening with what will be a virtual ‘bye’ to the last eight at stake, okay Bournemouth won’t bring many but it could be 600 plus.
