Jolly Boys outing to Essex

What better to do on a weekend when Margate aren't playing than to go to Essex to watch a couple of your rival teams playing :-/

 

Myself and a fellow Gate fan, on a 'secret unsucessful mission', went to see Concord Rangers v Bury Town, a game that brought up two major points.

 

1. Last week was a brilliant win, with the clean sheet a great achievement, as Concord today showed just how good they are in attack with four goals and numerous other chances.

 

2. We have nothing to fear in the game against Bury Town. They are very weak at the back, exposed by both pace and height, so Kwesi/Bradbrook/Curtis/Burch will have a field day. They possess a couple of quick, skillful wingers who will be a danger to our fullbacks but apart from that they seemed very average. Maybe just a bad day at the office, but on that performance no worries for our high flying boys

Dont forget the HT chips were pretty decent too...

always wondered where my ex ended up.......she had great hearing and a spare eye for things
