Sorry but I hope they are hit hard, twice in what 5 years? Yes feel sorry for all the fans but they have buried there head in the sand the last 3 years pretending everything is ok and will do the same now with Spencer in charge. See the academy manager has left too so now also paying off Haylock, Hall and Harkness till end of season? In addition I would imagine some of the released players. I also know s couple of current Conf South players that have been offered 000's signing on and 00's a week to join Farmborough since Spencer took over, both approached illegally. Make them pay up fully even if it means it takes years and they have to endure relegation after relegation until paid. If I didn't pay my taxes as a self employed person I know they would come down on me hard. Time to do the same to poorly managed clubs.

I've never posted on their forum but I do like to have a read every now and then. Whenever anyone mentions them burying their heads in the sand they come up with the old classic that it's jealousy.

I don't think so. Who'd be jealous of a club that, over the last 10 or so years has gone from one crisis to another and is constantly on the receiving end of ccj's and winding-up petitions?

HMRC seem to have taken it aupon themselves to really go for footy clubs of late. I'm sure you also read the financial pages of certain broad-sheets !

NLP article saying takeover stalled as new consortium wanted their own manager, obviously Spencer not going to sell to them and fans questioning what a supposed 900k loan has been spent on if not to pay bills?????

 

Time for FA to take a stand against these clubs who keep overspending and seem to think it's ok. It may be harsh on the supporters but make them sell anyone on contract, forbid them from paying another player until all debts paid off. Relegate them to bottom tier and even sell the ground if owned to pay off the full amount. Time people realised that it isn't on.

Spencer was on the Non-League Show tonight saying he was "angry and depressed" and that owning the club was "the last thing I wanted". He said many tens of thousands paid out today (presume to HMRC) and that the future is positive, but wants to sell to the right person.

It won't be admitted to but yes. No offence to Spencer and Koo who to be fair have done ok since going there but would any other Conf South side have gone for a manager with his experience and lack of success????

Koo has now taken on the Academy which is probably where his strengths lie I know that a number of Farnborough players now see there sessions as a bit if a joke due to the coaching so expect to see a few more players out as fair play to Spencer he won't stand the poor attitude of some.

I still feel that as a club they need to seriously look at how they run, mentioned before the wages and signing on fees being offered illegally to potential players add to this the obvious failure to pay what they owe tax wise and to smaller businesses and they are a perfect example of how not to run a football club.

Nothing against the new regime but they need to be made an example of, I see today they have paid in full some of the outstanding hmrc money????? Why not pay in full all of it!

Sorry but clubs like this really get me angry.
