Possible (probable ) striker selection dilemma

In the abscence of anything better to debate-hypothetically-if Kwesi were to leave in the next two weeks would CK

 

a)rush in the signing of a striker on loan

 

b)play a single striker-persumably-robinson or bradbrook

 

c)play twin strikers of robinson and bradbrook

 

d) play either robinson/bradbrook with burchell

 

Personally-i think he would sing someone on loan-but for a couple of weeks may settle for option d).

 

Personally- i'd go for a combo of bradbrook and robinson on the basis that at this level-a big'un beats a little 'un and try and frighten and bully a few defences to bits.

Unsophisticated-but it works at this level

If Kwasi is sold there should be a clause loaning him back for the rest of the season. Better than warming the bench for some league 1 or 2 outfit.

Bradbrook is quite capable, he's proved that last season and before his injury this season. Team him with Burchell and think we'll be fine...but Kwesi still here for now!

If Kwesi does move on I think a Craig Davies/Tom Btadbrook pairing looks a worthwnile runner. I think this was used in the Faversham friendly so anybody who went could probably comment on this pairing but having seen Craig only in caneo roles he does look lively with a powerful shot.

Trouble is Burch has been played most of the time out wide. To me he should be played down the middle and if/when Mr Appiah moves on to he would be a perfect replacement for him. The only reservation about Burch though is he needs to beef up a bit. A few extra weights and gym sessions for you Burch.

I did a bit of a search yesterday to see if his name was popping up on any forums anywhere.

Other than a few clubs fans suggesting that their club might be wise to take a punt on him (Bristol Rovers and Brentford are two I recall) the only other thing of potential interest was a suggestion that Leeds and Villa have him on their radar. However, as it was on a forum, this could be taken with a pinch of salt.

Also, a quick look at a Watford forum showed people encouraging the fake updates of his Wikipedia page that happened a week or two back. The instigator has actually been blocked from Wikipedia!

Agree. The fella just needs a Manager to have some faith, wide or middle! Bags of skill & superb work ethic, would like to see him play off of Bradders, then watch the goals continue.
