Comfortable win in the end.

Should have been a couple of goals to the good at half time.

Defensively very tight with Woozley, Brown and NBH commanding at the back giving very little away.

At the moment with the weather and the condition of pitches it's very difficult to play good football all the time but we are getting very adept at grinding out results interspersed with some good play. IMO just what's required to win this league.

COYR!!!

Slough won fair and square and were the better team on the day.Thought Uxbridge got their tactics all wrong by playing high balls into our box which our defenders coped easily with.

I thought Adam Martin played particularly well and was my MOM of the day.

Getting exciting isnt it....

You might get a chance to see Mark Wright play for St Neots when we play Beaconsfield.

It was a good crowd at St Neots today, MW affect maybe but im sure everyone left happy.

If you could start getting worse at grinding out results soon that would be great, thanks!

The Mark Wright thing is nothing more than a publicity stunt, he has just gone on record stating he has not signed for St Neots!

Yes.... currently resisting the urge to type what I want to type on the official forum... will wait for an official response.

And it certainly wont go down well as a publicity stunt with current supporters thats for sure.

Mark Wright is also a footballer.... allegedly...... he signs for a different Essex club every month for publicity but then never actually plays. At least Jeff Brazier did bother turning out for a couple of sides........ he wasn't bad at all as it happens.

I wonder what your real players are thinking about Mark Wright starting infront of the one he has now put on the bench? - he is only there for the publicity and has no intrest in the long term future of St Neots.

Well that's why he was supposed to make his debut on Saturday as our left back was suspended. If that was to be his only game then so be it. Wanting answers now

It's all fine...

"The club would like to state that Mark Wright signed player registration forms for St Neots Town FC last Wednesday and those forms were registered with the Evo Stik league the following day.

Unfortunately there seems to be some confusion with Twitter statements that have been released on Marks "behalf" on his Twitter blog."

He must be really proud of his new club as his last twitter message states that "I have not signed for st Neots football club" wow! He's going to give his all of actually does play! Matt I think it's all quite amusing!!

I think its quite amusing too, to even think that he is doing his own promotion, via Twitter, its on his behalf and not him at all! Bet he dont even wipe his own backside at the moment "Cash Cow" springs to mind. I know DG had a go for him when our good young left Back, 20yr old Rene Steer was on his way to Kettering Town, obviously because of Kettering's problems, this didnt happen and Rene chose to stay put. He's really got to go some to oust the two best left sided players in the squad at present! We also have a great 17 year old lad who's very left sided too.
