Just that I haven't been down to the ground since the work started.

The word in the bar was that you were going to lose some of your parking places and that the Council were insisting on overseeing certain operations of HTFC.

Oh ok.

well yes they have taken a fair chunk of the carpark, but I have gotta say the sports centre does look very good.

but overall our place has new fences and gates now, our carpark has been re tarmac and marked out so looks a lot smarter. And I believe the turnstyles have been ordered and will be going in soon.

Surely this sports centre must be an asset to Horley Town FC as I'm sure they the players can use their facilities for indoor training on training nights.....?

Should Horley Town car park be full for a game, I am sure spectator/s parking will be allowed in the sports centre, so not really a major problem?

The New Defence's own dedicated car park will be used by football and rugby club players and officials but the Leisure Centre's "Overflow" car park, which is still owned by the club but rented to Reigate & Banstead Council, has 100+ spaces and is shared between us on a first come first served basis.

Spectators (and we hope there's plenty!) will be able to park there and access the ground via turnstiles to be installed in the next few weeks.

You're right, the new Leisure Centre puts us a bit more on the map!
