As a result of the postponement of the Under 18's County Cup semi-final next week, Town will now host division leaders Billericay Town at the QEII stadium on Wednesday evening.

 

Kick off is the usual 19:45.

Town beat top of the table Billericay Town 5-1 last night to further climb the Capital League table.

 

Scorers were Hammatt (2), Smyth, Bardle, Corbett.

 

Rhys Hunt's injury* isn't a leg break as first feared, although he has ligament damage & bad bruising. He'll be out for a while, though.

 

*arising from a tackle that earned the visiting player a straight red card.

 

Well done to referee Ian Bentley for controlling a game that what might otherwise have turned very nasty with a less experienced official.
