Boxing Day changing room theft: Do You Know This Man?

absolute pr1ck.

We at Chertsey town fc had a lengthy discussion last night about our security during the match and how we can improve it to avoid any incidents like this.

We do have door locks etc etc on the changing rooms but at times let our guard down and do not follow everything through as should be done.

This incident just highlights how we all have to be more vigilant and give the low lifes no opportunities to rob us of our personal possessions.

I had stuff stolen from Cove a few seasons ago :-( It wasn't a Cove match, per se: Venue being used by the NE Hants Youth League for some cup finals.

Just to add to the above story: The Away side got rifled as well, not just the officials. Seemed a bit off to me that the Home changing room was locked but not the others !

IF both changing rooms can be locked which they should be, if not, it MUST become an FA Ruling then it would be the Home/Away dressing rooms responsibility to lock thier own dressing room door. In each changing room their should be a notice about securing your own possessions as clubs will not be held responsible (ie) valuables bag. IF the door cannot be locked, it should be brought to the home clubs notice and appropriate league. Alot tho' is common sense and accepting responsibilty...................now maybe there lies the problem..........lol !!!
