CCL APPLICATIONS TO STEP 4

NICE GUY

Recommended Posts

I have been informed that all the usual suspects in CCL Premier top 6 have applied for promotion but excludes Hanworth Villa. Anyone know why ? Is it 'cos of their ground grading or just don't feel they are ready for possible promotion as yet ?......Interesting !

Interestingly, only sixty four step 5 clubs nationwide have applied for promotion to step 4 from the fourteen leagues!

That is about 20%!!!

I wonder if that pro rata will increase following the step 5 restructuring in 2013?

Their ground would need a LOT of work, doubt very much they could get it to grade E in time.

No-one from Div 1 was on the list.

It's for Step 5 clubs not Step 6 clubs.

thanks for clearing that up didnt realise div 1 teams didnt have to apply , interesting only 2 teams from the wessex have applied realisticly they are the only 2 you would imagine that would finish 1st or 2nd but there are a few sides with decent grounds and arent to far of top

Is there a Fee payable to register your intention for promotion?

From the FA's website:

"Those clubs that do not have a Grade E or above should forward a cheque for £120 (£100 + VAT) made payable to The Football Association Ltd with the application form. This fee will cover one grading visit only; subsequent grading visits will also be charged at £100 + VAT."

You only pay to get a grading inspection - there's no cost to apply for promotion.

GS I keep hearing that your ground is still not upto scratch and work still needs doing to get the grading for promotion, and that there is another inspection to confirm all is now okay ? Are these conflicting stories correct ?
