Super Hornchurch - Memorable CUP performances on the Road

Could we do it again?

 

In recent years we have had some great away performances/results in cup competitions.

 

In terms of our AWAY cup record in recent years I have really enjoyed the following:

 

- Beating Brentwood 2-0 (Rikki Burbridge 2) AT Grays in 2006 to win the ES League Cup (I think I remember a confetti cannon?)

 

- Beating Great Wakering 2-1 (Krissy Lee & Jesus) AT Roots Hall in 2007 to win the Essex Senior Cup (an exciting night)

 

- Winning 1-0 AT Bromley (Janney) in the FA Cup in 2008 (with 10 men/ a brilliant save from Elliot in goal)

 

- Winning 2-1 AT Weymouth (Krissy Lee & Jesus (again)) in the FA Cup in 2008 (Just brilliant and great celebrations after the winner)

 

- Drawing 4-4 AT Chelmsford (Hunt 2, Flack & Jackman) in the FA Trophy in 2009 (what a comeback – we were 1-4 down)

 

- Winning 2-1 AT Margate (Tuohy & Elliot) in the FA Trophy in 2010 (winner/madness in the last minute)

 

- Demolishing Thurrock 5-0 (Hunt, Tuohy, Glover, Smith & Spencer) AT Ship Lane in this year's FA Trophy (singing Hawaii five-O – la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la etc..)

 

- Winning 3-2 AT Farnborough (Tuohy 2 & Smith) in this year's FA Trophy (another ‘giant’ killing)

I liked Cogenhoe away in the fa vase, they put up a special marquee for the away supporters, we took [censored] loads up there that day. A Danny Heale scored the winner.

Bideford was a quality weekend away with the Urchins. It was a really nice town and the result topped it off. Plus watching 'o' dancing in the bar with those old dears was classic!
