I would have said wear Red and White as this is the colours of their fierce rivals Lincoln.

But, having seen what they done to them i'd say wear Purple if you have it.

It might blind the opposition.

Haddock, do they allow away supporters in the club shop? Want to pop in there before kick off and buy a badge.

Yes, no problem. The club shop is at the front of the ground next to the ticket office.

Will we have to go to the ticket office first? Or do you sell tickets on the turnstiles

I'm fairly sure you can pay on the turnstile but for concessions (oap, kids) I think you need to buy a ticket first. Don't quote me on that though.

The Blundell Park Hotel gets very busy and waiting times after 2 aren't great, so not sure I'd recommend that one unless you get there early and get yourselves a good spot near the small bar.

Plenty of pubs on/near the station and nearly all of them are decent, even if some have seen better days.

I'm sure you've already been told this but get your chippy in the Market Place: Steels for sit-down, Ernie Becketts for takeaway. Becketts is one of the few places left that fries using the traditional beef dripping, certainly gives them a unique flavour! Please don't embarrass yourselves and ask for cod either! hehe

Sorry to sour the note, but apologies in advance for the amount of dog doo on the way to the ground; unfortunately, for whatever reason (coughchav scumcough) there are a lot of utterly selfish dog owners that live near BP. Try not to be too shocked by how deprived the area seems either (you guys in the south get all the investment)! haha :)

Safe journey all.

Not the best starts for me. Couldn't find train tickets last night do in the panic of missing out spent £82 on another return at 1am this morning. Original tickets found 20 mins after that. I'd wish they stayed lost lol.

Not all bad though as apparently I can get a refund minus a tender admin fee.

Get those vocal chords in full flow ladies and gents.

Get into 'em!

It's bloody freezing here this morning. -3 when I was driving to work. The sun is just starting to come out now so hopefully the temperature should soon get above freezing.

I still think the game will go ahead ok though as I'd be gutted for your fans in particular if it was postponed because of a frozen pitch. Nothing about a pitch inspection on our OS yet but I'll keep an eye out during the morning.
