England team fiasco!

Whats everyone's veiws on the last 24 hours debarcle in the England camp? Who's in the wrong, the team or the FA? Personally, I'm disgusted with the way the team behaved, you play for your country, not for one player. If it weren't such an important game I'd like to see the entire squad dropped and new players selected that actually have some passion about representing their country. Strikes me as hypocritical that the team take the morale high ground on this, considering the press footballers are getting at the moment over rapes, gang rapes, drugs, racism, yobish behaviour etc etc.

We have two clubs who in their dealings with the FA and the England team have always seen themselves as more important than the national side (1 x French manager and 1 x Jock manager)

Little wonder that players who have spent the majority of their years at those two clubs (plus one from Liverpool) form the England players negotiating team

The players have been dragged from teens to twenties in an unreal world where the individual and his needs are served by the club and the agent

Little real chance of getting in touch with the world outside

[color:"blue"]OK you are disgusted by the England players behaviour.

What behaviour?

The behaviour that you have read in the papers no doubt.

The sensational SUN, MIRROR, STAR, EXPRESS or BRAZIL & PARRY'S COMMERCIAL TALKSPORT Radio Show.

Controversy sells.

The fact is for whatever reason:

A player did not take his drug test.

The Testers did not continually observe the player from the time he was informed that he was due to be tested.

The player was a key player in the England team.

The FA will not allow the player to represent his country even though FIFA confirmed that the player was eligible and no action could be taken against the FA or England legally or otherwise, should the player be found guilty of any misgivings after the game with Turkey.

[color:"purple"] There has never been any threat of the players not playing apart from those made up by the MEDIA and fuelled by people.

I have been D&A tested a few times and from the moment you are informed you are to be randomly tested you are not allowed out of the sight of the testers and not allowed to pass anything or take anything without them knowing.

The real problem of this whole situation is the TESTERS of RIO FERDINAND were AMATEURS and they are representative of the English FA. FACT: The TESTERS of RIO FERDINAND were AMATEURS and they are representative of the English FA.

jimbo gets tested for drugs on account of his hedonistic lifestyle which conflicts with his role as an international sprtsman...its known in close circles that jimbo is the most elsuive of them all...

he once parachuted from a 15 storey building to avoid the random testers and landed in a open topped london bus which sped him away to the savoy hotel where jordan was waiting for him...

jimbo, not surprised that you support rio AND THE ENGLAND PLAYERS, first you make jokes about brain tumours (Which is very sick) and then you admit you have been frequently drug tested.

[color:"blue"]You are showing just how much of a *#@$£ you really are mate.
Firstly you can't understand the above postings. I do not SUPPORT Rio at all and think the guy is a bit of a dope who cannot concentrate on something more than 3 mins.
What I am saying for the last time is the England players never threatened to not play and the FA DRUG TESTERS are AMATEURS.

As for telling a joke that contains the a TUMOUR ... what is so bad about it?
Shall we not tell jokes about THE BLIND MAN?... THE MAN WITH NO ARMS & NO LEGS.... THE MAN WITH 2 WIFE'S.... THE MAN WHO LEFT HIS WIFE AND KIDS??? and shall we all live in a sheltered little world like you?

I am responsible for many peoples lives ... If I mess up, then lives will easily be lost. So I am randomly Tested.
It's no big deal and no doubt happens in many professions.

And why do you think anyone gives a toss about your opinion you cretin? The geezer has come on and asked for views, but like you did yesterday, you jumped straight down the guys throat. Reckon you've got some in inferiority complex pal. Easy to act the big man behind a PC you nerd.

[color:"blue"]Not only act the big man behind the computer but in person as well, that's why I don't have to resort to girly name calling.

If I am out of order then Lord will let me know or Urchinette will give me a slap, but a pimple like you I don't think so

Thanks JFC for stepping in on my behalf, but really mate, not needed and how about chillin and cooling things down a bit, no need to get so hot under the collar.

Jimbo, I'm not arguing about the rights or wrongs of the testing proceedures, I'm arguing about the conduct of these England lads in reaction to Rio being banned. I happen to believe in the old saying, "there's no smoke without a fire" and knowing what these Premier League players think they can get away with, I tend to believe what has been widely reported in todays press. Of course, others, like yourself, may point a finger of blame at the FA over their methods for testing and the way they banned Rio. No one blameless in this and both the players antics and that of the FA's, give me the feeling we won't be seeing Sven in charge of England much longer! Roman's millons will be tempting him Stamford Bridge way!
