Worcester Park v Guernsey FC, 14-1-12

Comments above are true regarding the parking, so best to get a train. Theres a large pub oppoite if you wish to look at some pubs en route to the game.

 

To prepare you Guernseyrites, it will be a bit of a culture shock regarding WP ground. After walking over a small stream, the entrance is a man (hes big !) on a chair where you pay to get in, no turnstiles. The pitch itself is decent but on a slope, there is a rope around the pitch (bottom and far side) which is the minimum requirement at step 6 level, with a main stand (and dug-outs) on the near side where the majority of the watching public tend to stand, hardly anyone stands on the far side. Clubhouse is nice with good food and the usual tipple with a friendly atmosphere, so hopefully all will enjoy the day.

 

You have been warned, unfortunately this is the reason as to why WP cannot get promoted........Good luck both teams !

No, the new changing block is behind the dugouts and the away changing room is now a decent size that the whole squad can actually fit in these days haha! Much improved!

Theyhave a new building for changing rooms on halfway line behind hard covered area!! So no not like a pack of swan vestas lol a nice size!!

Lol...yeah the old changing rooms were rather small although the home changing room wasn't that much bigger! The new changing rooms are alot better now although the showers are cr&p!

WP1 if you read some previous threads/posts you'll read some posters keep saying I'm always ''digging out'' people, clubs whatever when all I'm doing is being honest which appears to hurt people..........but hey ! You remember my comments about Windsor's budget and about games ''conveniently'' being called off, no-one has yet replied or denied such accusations..............see what I mean now WP1 ...............lol !!!
