Has anybody been watching the FA Cup matches on ESPN over the weekend. During the intervals there is a piece showing players from the past and what they do now. This weekend there has been a shot with the headline "Richard Stephen Cuggy Hat trick Margate FC 1994" with a picture of him in his firefighter uniform. Has anybody else seen it?

Way too technical for me, plus there'd probably be copyright issues. One of a select band of Margate players who were never known by their real first names...

...in case anybody's interested. Steve's profile doesn't yet mention him getting, and then losing, the Blyth Spartans managers job in the past few months.

 

If the ESPN bits are the same as last year then probably the oldest person they show is Les Fell - caption says he played in the 1946 Final for Charlton which is true but he also played for Margate before and after World War II. He sadly passed away not long after he was filmed by ESPN...
