In danger of trying to be philosophical but when you give someone a second chance it isn't necessarily where they let you down the first time. Paedophiles must be the most difficult to give a second chance to but everyone should get a chance to work and play, just not anywhere near kids! Simon Carmichael didn't particularly let anyone down on the pitch did he, I just would be wary of giving him money or believing his granny etc etc had died so he did not have to attend training.

 

To take an example of someone with a past who has had a second chance I'd say Lee Scott, I don't have a downer on him and obviously his team don't but some would. It just depends where they get the second chance doesn't it?

I know that one swallow doesn’t make a summer however at certain Club’s a player can make all the difference to success such as Lee Scott at Kentish Town, Craig Hammond at Royston Town and Lea Coulter at Ampthill
