What a match! What a result!

FT Score 5-0 to the Town.

A great performance from the lads, another clean sheet, another three away points, and a win that will make all the other promotion contenders sit up and take notice. The boys are definitely back-in Town !!

Very well done to Steve and the players.

You were well worth your win today, although 5-0 was probably a little harsh on us. Of all the top teams we've played I can't think of anyone else who looked strong all round. Glad we've now played you twice; I think I'd make you favourites for the title on what I've seen so far this season.

Our third goal has been credited as an OG.

That could be taken as meaning there was some doubt. There wasn't any. A splendid finish from six yards by the right back, giving his keeper no chance. As the same player also conceded the penalty it's safe to say he won't regard the second half as the finest 45 minutes of his career.

Well done Enfield, easily the best side we have played all season. Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope you get the promotion your brilliant fans and team deserve.

Don't wanna sound square or plane jane(ish), but these are the comments from rival fan's that make me feel we are ready for promotion. As being classy on the pitch is matched by it's supporters off it. An early comparison can be made with the previously promoted RD1N sides such as Dartford, Hornchurch and Lowestoft can be made where large home crowds are matched by following away support too.

As for the game-Romford could have ruffled our feathers had they taken 2 first half chances which came their way, but they did'nt and we were too strong on the day for them. I agree that 5-0 was a bit unfair on Romford but 3-0 would have reflected our superiority more accurately.

We have Brentwood and Potters Bar coming up in our next 2 games, win those and I think a gap will occur between ourselves and the teams below us.

Leiston, Sudbury and Needham are all playing in the Suffolk FA Quatre Finals this week, I don't care who wins there ties but I do hope they get stuck in and don't hold any prisoners in there attitude to winning those ties. Leiston actually play Sudbury in that cup on Wednesday and then play each other in the league 3 days later, go on lads, go for each others throats.
