The plan is to meet from midday in the pub at Cleethorpes Station, the majority of fans will be there by 12 with some others booked on a train an hour or so later. Many are travelling up by car or staying for the weekend so they will be joining us there as well, few drinks there, bit of fish and chips etc then down to the ground about 1pm when the others arrive and find a pub nearer the ground.I reckon get into the ground by about 2.45pm to have a sing song and let them know we have arrived

To be honest, you might as well stay around Cleethorpes High Street/Market Place area until you are ready to head for the ground. There are no pubs whatsover between the High Street and the ground and when you get to the ground there is only The Blundell Park Hotel which is directly opposite but as this is mainly a hotel, the bar area is rather small and does get rather busy. The other pub near the ground, The Imperial, is still closed. There are plenty of pubs in The High Street and The Market Place so you'd be best to enjoy a few drinks around there before making the 20 minute or so walk to the ground.

As for fish and chips your best bet for takeaway is Ernie Becketts in The Market Place or for a sit down meal the rather old fashioned but excellent Steels Corner House on the opposite corner. Make sure you order Haddock though as around these parts Cod is a swear word and only fit for pet food and visiting Yorkies.

Can you remind me what time coach 1 leaves for Grimsby and eta, don't want to miss the jollies at Cleethorpes station bar, understand it's a bit of an institution.

Has it been decided what strip we shall be wearing for this game?

If Newcastle and Sunderland wear their primary colours when they play each other, why can't both teams wear theirs here?
