We want more juice than that!

Sorry. No comment.

PTG - I assume you were officiating?

I don't want to ask about this specific incident but, out of interest, when and where does your responsibility begin and end on a match day?

If this happened after the game when everyone was changed and in the clubhouse do you still have a role until you leave the ground?

A match officials responsabilities start from the moment he/she enters the veune until the moment he/she departs.

This covers incidents that are witnessed on and off the Field of Play.

You are correct. I was officiating on this game hence the reason I cannot comment on any incidents of a disciplinary measure.

I remember that about you on the occasions when you first set foot in the Copthall Stadium and Reynolds Field, very prim, proper and professional in your approach, a lot of the SSML Officials are informal and relaxed, such as Lindsay Szulc for example, but you're not in that category are you

I agree with you on that point.

That's an interesting comment, is that because you don't think a lot of Mr Szulc or you think he is too informal and laid back in his approach

I like Mr Szulc way of officiating, could actually have some two way dialogue during a game with him unlike some of the automatons coming through the system now.

I think you need to find some middle ground.

Some Referees are too laid back while others never use any common sense.

I have no problem in speaking to players during a game or even talking to people in the Technical Areas. Good banter never got anybody into trouble.

If someone asks a sensible question in a polite manner I will always try to answer them.

Referees who ignore players and managers only antagonize them and usually find that small problems soon escalate.

A good day at the 'office' is finishing the game and no-one is talking about you or your colleagues.

not many good days for you then!

Only if you believe everything you read on this forum.

Meanwhile in the real world..............

He did a half decent job of fixing my car a few years back aswell so Lindsay is fine by me!

I'm Mr Szulc's biggest fan, I don't think there is a nicer bloke on the planet, it's a shame Pete the Greek doesn't appear to like him

Well nobody has gone as far as banning me from a venue or not made be feel welcome when I have gone to watch a game so I doubt I have annoyed anybody in the extreme.
