Apiah on fire

I dont think I have seen a player in this league that has looked at least 2 leagues below his present position and wonder at the composure and skill of a lad so young on the ball. Today (Hastings) he scared the crap out their defence and was pretty much in a great position for most of the game. What Im about to say may get me slated but hey-ho, "imagine how MANY goals he could score with a better midfield". Im not knocking our midfield and am only stating what most were saying during the game, as an awful lot of our play was directed to him - hence they cut it out and looked a better passing team than us.

The better team .......hmmmmmmm how many times have we said we played brilliant today but just did'nt get the rub of the green and lost. Today we seemed to be playing as the away team in which I mean we seemed to be hitting them on the break rather than controlling the game. Im not slating our tactics and am not qualified to to even think I or anyone else on this forum should.

On a closing note I would like to think Kwesi will stay with us until the end of the season but also think the bigger league teams must be waiting in the wings with nice fat cheques to sign this fella up, but all the while that he is in our colours hope that he keeps banging them in :)

Hastings played the ball around mostly on the ground and using the width and I thought they actually played quite well and often better than us - Danny Stubbs must learn not to foul the opponent when he has been beaten to the ball. Kwasi looked fit and as said above could have had a hatful of goals if served better by the midfield. Simon did some good clearances in goal but is still giving the ball away to the opposition too much from goal kicks etc - why does the whole team gravitate to one part of the pitch when the keeper is kicking it out ? Well done The 'Gate today for keeping going for the whole game - was still peeved about the Met police performance but they put that to bed for me today.
