Good start to the new year and still undefeated since 1 January 2012!

495 people watched an end to end game with the Town 1-0 up at half time with Redbridge doing most of the attacking.

2nd half was a different story with Town putting away the chances.

Shame Walid got booked for diving after an apparent foul in the box.

This was a highly competitive match and an excellent result for the Town after the slip-up at Tilbury.

Redbridge are difficult opponents and not a bad side, and they created some clearcut chances in the first half, before Town took a grip on the match with a fine second half display, to take the points. Once again Town players showed a lot of character, determination, and self-belief. We are into the second half of the season, and we can all feel good about that performance yesterday. This was a very promising start to the new year. Well done Steve and the players, you made a lot of people very happy.

But not the Redbridge players and especially their bench.
