What a great result.

 

Expected a bit more from Lowestoft - Still think they are the team to beat in this league, but I don't want to take anything away from a superb Hx performance. All the players worked really hard, good goal from Smith and a great strike from Anderson and a clincal pen from Touhy. A lot of hard work from everyone to set the result up. I think a pinpoint ball from Hunt showed what we were about today.

 

Lowestoft quick out of the blocks again like last season, but Hx took over after that.

 

Beating the top two over the Christmas period puts into perspective the Canvey game - particularly as they lost to East Thurrock today. Still think they practice Voodoo.

Played like a team that's getting promoted once we stopped showing Lowestoft respect we were unstoppable good support from Lowestoft obvious that they thought we were easy pickings after the Canvey match and fascinated with our mums
