CEO looking for big crowd for Hastings clash

With Margate’s first game of the New Year scheduled for 3pm tomorrow (Monday) afternoon, Margate CEO Cliff Egan has issued a rallying call for the club’s supporters to come down to Hartsdown and really get behind the team.

So was 471 'big enough' ?

 

i imagine 'target' was 500 plus.

 

A bit short but not far off (not sure what kent weather was like yesterday.

 

i would have thought 471 acceptable given that its hardly a local derby, and the fact that Margate won makes up and therefore the attendance may be a bit more this coming saturday to help make up any 'shortfall'.

To put things into perspective 471 is the second largest attendence HOME or AWAY in the league this season, and the 4th largest in ALL competitions. Keep playing like we are and the supporters will return. It would be even greater for confidence if there is good news on Thursday, and the team start to see the new statdium going up around them.
