Great Result even if it was a poor game, Looking forward to Monday now, when i will be back at the game and will not have to rely on Twitter.

Thanks to everyone who tried their best to keep us informed today.

An advance Happy new top of the table new year to everyone !

7 points clear a good way to go into 2012. Only worry is that if St Neots win their two games in hand they'll go two points behind us and tbh they're scoring goals for fun atm. But i believe they'll slip up a few times this season ensuring us to win the league. COYR!

I nearly pulled you up on that one Rod!

Plenty, plenty of room for improvement from the performance today. Far too many aimless long balls up the pitch when playing against ten men. Very frustrating for both the supporters and the players, but three points is the most important thing. Must do better though.

Given the results around us today that is a big 3 points. Poor performance but we got there in the end. Fair play to Fleet they did their best to frustrate us and were quite well organised when down to ten.

Happy New Year to all the players management and supporters. Let's finish the job in 2012! COYR!

we played quite badly and created very little like we have in a fair few away games this season but we got a goal however scrappy it was we sure as hell will take it

frustration but relief at full time all round. Fleet never really had a clear cut chance but they gave it a good go with 10 men and im sure will win some games soon enough and move away from the bottom

St Neots look to be going strong but points on the board over games in hand any day and even if they win the games in hand they still behind us

7 clear but we must keep a check on reality and realise there is a lot to do yet

If I was a Fleet Town fan I'd be mortified that they didn't get anything out of the game. Slough looked desperately nervous even once we got the goal to the point where we were taking corners with one Slough shirt in the box. Madness. There was a big article in the papers this week about leading from the front. On the basis of today I don't know that we can do that for half a season, especially when St Neots are winning games comfortably against higher placed opposition than we're struggling against.

Yes we got the three points and yes it's a good sign that we win when we don't play well but we're going to catch an almighty cold if we turn in too many performances like that. Hopefully we can start on Monday with a convincing performance.

Well done to the team and management for ending the year with us in such a fantastic position.

Seems to be par for the course where we struggle to play our game against the lesser placed teams and yet turn in solid performances against the higher placed teams, but we're winning, keeping clean sheets and are 7 points clear at the top with 19 games to play, we'd all have bitten the arm off the person who offered that in August...

The secret of any team who wins leagues is to take the points anyway which way they come, and that is exactly what we have done all season. Even if we weren't great today, did anyone feel like Fleet would score without us making a mistake?!?! I didn't... Fleet did to us exactly what we did to Beaconsfield when we went down to 10 men, 2 solid banks of 4 with a lone striker, which frustrates the hell out of teams... We didn't create a lot but we controlled the game for 60 minutes then decided to start playing Hollywood passes when a simple 5 yard pass would suffice! You could tell how frustrated Paul Coyne was by the way he left the pitch at the full time whistle, we can't dominate teams every match for 90 minutes, no team does!

Anyway, bring on 2012, COME ON YOU REBELS!!!
