Division One

2-1 Ampthill Town v Bedford

65

Former No.9 - I was mainly going by Ref Off Ref's comment following Monday's game with Bedford when he said you could barely move in the Clubhouse, if that was the case with an attendance of 65 how would the Club be able to cope with a crowd of 500 plus and coach loads of away fans looking to drink the place dry

We would probably get in outside caterers as well as a marquee bar. Anyway we will deal with it accordingly whenor if we are faced with it.Simple.

I expect Ampthill Town are quite happy to be drawn away from home in the FA Vase although a visit to the North East could prove tricky taking into account the Club failed to negotiate a trip to Norwich for a pre-season friendly, we still don't know what happened there and why the game was called off.

see ya tomorrow mate . some bad news we sent Macca to a physio yesterday and he has a slight tare in his thigh he will be out for 2 weeks and Coulter is 50/50 after coming off injured Monday . it's good we have Christian back he looked good in training last night like he had never been away .

CB....quality answer, and know its probably true also.

Shame is Norwich Tractor Carrot Crunching S**t outfit are not an SSML club and was probably the only game Stiffy Cliffy was able to attend, think you've p****d him off big time

Tracey....as Ehodes reliable source confirms that's who you are, how can you say such a thing?

If Rhodes wasn't a tight fisted t**t, his 157 year old mother wasn't ill, didn't spend so much time in public loo's and was appreciated for all his first hand knowledge on the beautiful game, he'd be there.....oh forgot, and the fact he's not s**t scared he knows he's gonna get lumped again like at London Colney last season

it was called off because i could not be bothered to go all the way there for a friendly .

Is that also why the friendly on 6 August against Stotfold Reserves was called off with Stotfold actually turning up at Ampthill Park expecting to play
