January 2nd Fixtures & Results

3 points today at last !!!! however we are all gutted 2 minutes in and probably the worst tackle i have seen this season resulting in a really bad broken ankle for young Alex Baker. I am sure the stony player did not mean to break Alex ankle and indeed was clearly shaken and asked to be substituted. Have to be careful what i say but what was the officials watching ? yellow card you sure ??

well done lads and we are all thinking about Alex, operation Tuesday morning wiyh metal plates being put in. Good luck mate.

COLES PARK

HARINGEY BOROUGH 4 Hanwell Town 1

SSMLPD

Adm £5 Inc. Prog

Cup a soup 50p, crisps 50p

Firstly I suggest you don't try this at home, my route to the match took in the delights of all 3 Hackney rail stations, Wick, Central and Downs, due to a slight faux pas on my part by changing at the wrong one blush.gif however I made the best of the situation by ticking off the Hackney Wetherspoons with an extremely swift half of Woods Santa's tale tongue.gif since I happened to be in Mare Street!

Then moving on to Tottenham... I left myself short of time to walk down White Hart Lane it seemed further than I remembered from a previous visit and I missed the first two minutes of the match shocked.gif

Shortly after my arrival Hanwell scored but Haringey eventually got into their stride and equalised with a fantastic strike from the edge of the centre circle! cool.gif In the second half Haringey eventually won the match comfortably.

The ground has not changed since my last visit many years ago, even the Programme and gateman were the same but the stand is looking a little weathered, still a great view from there though! Apart from Edgware the only other ground I can think of with one of these nice grandstands is Bedworth, any others?

Need some recovery time now, Hackney and Tottenham in one afternoon is more than enough for anyone! crazy.gif

So now we know that Rhodes does still attend games

Sorry to hear aboutthe lad Pat....don't wish any injury on any player as I've seen all too often with my lad.

Made his return today after 11 months out, just like to thank CB for his support and patience, also his and Former No.9's kind words on here earlier with reference to him today.

LOL he was gutted not to have the saved the penalty too.....cocky git!!!!

Fvck off Rhodes......literally

Ooo - Rhodes will be telling you next that he's got you pants down around your ankles and he's given you a good rogering, you know, his favourite position.

You can't just blow off Mr Important like that RoR.

Ref Off Ref - I can't remember whether it was you or Craig Bicknell who said that it would be a while before your lad displaced Jamie Bewick in the team as he has done no wrong this season and kept you in the FA Vase single handedly against Haringey & Waltham Development
