Croydon v Mole Valley

Croydon won 3-0 today but not a very good 1st half! To be fair Valley not a bad side and have some decent players, Croydon started slowly not even at the races typical game really after Xmas and all that ! Valley where bright and had early pressure,but as soon ad Rivers scored to make it 1-0 Croydon you could see Valley start to slide and Croydon took full advantage scoring 2 more game won 1st half!

 

2nd half Croydon much the better team and not really put under pressure and quite comfortable really and could have extended their lead. Good luck to Valley they look quite a young team and play some good footy! Well done Croydon same again Monday please slowly climbing! Tickets Please!

Not the best of games to watch but Croydon just seem to have to much for mole valley, up to 9th now and no stopping us not bad for everyone favourite to go down at start of season the management team and players done wonders this season, best in long while

Same old story for me, we play a reasonable amount of pretty football, but lack any cutting edge. First 20 minutes, thought we had the upper hand, with a few dangerous balls into the area, but no-one on the end.

 

Once our keeper threw the first one in for you guys, our heads dropped and that was pretty much it. From our point of view all three goals were awful, avoidable mistakes (and from where i was sitting - behind the goal taking pictures - they looked just horrible).

 

Trying to find any silver lining - and all i have come up with so far is that i was playing when we were last in Div 1, so didn't get to visit many of the grounds!!!!

 

Not throwing in the towel just yet, but i think the arm is cocked and ready for launch.

To be honest u were def better side 1st half and scored 3. 2nd half thought we out played u and didn't score. If u had 2 big centre forwards u would win more games your number 10 and the little winger 11 I think run 1st half and put in 4 or 5 great crosses but u never looked like scoring, good luck hope u manage to get out of trouble

I was impressed with Mole Valley when we played them. I believe that they had a loan signing or 3 from Leatherhead that day. Hopefully, on the 7th, Windsor will turn up.

Indeed, looking at the table the result back in October seems rather unlikely but, on that particular day, they looked one of the better teams we've faced and, despite missing a number of decent chances we had no complaints about the result at all.
