Very strong second half performance by Ash this morning against Farnham scoring 3 in the final 30 minutes. Great hat trick from Liam Ralls. Playing some really good stuff now Ash and they look a decent side at times. It must be very difficult for the Farnham lads to play at home on that pitch, it's a real mud heap and doesn't encourage free flowing football.

Didnt know Ash United's pitch was suddenly Wembley stadium!?!?

 

The pitch has been likened to Wembley on a many occasions.......................

 

needs to be dug up and re-turfed

The pitch is like Wembley compared to when I played for Ash, good to see the boys getting a couple of decent results AU whats happened in the last 2 weeks is it because I haven't been watching everytime I turn up the team has been well beaten apart from the 2 2 with Cove.

Why do Windsor hide behind the smoke screen, listen all that know local football are aware of Windsor's budget so can't see why they won't come clean, its okay we will still like you, Windsor are in the fortunate position to have such a budget so good luck to them, but telling us otherwise...........well !!!

Sandhurst 3 Baggy Lea 2 not for the faint hearted this one the game was very entertaining and had everything but a sending off (god knows how though) we took the lead and went in 1 up at HT,start of the 2nd half and a quick goal from BL and its 1 1 we then race into a 2 goal lead and make it 3 1 Matty Watson (mom imo )then saves a BL pen before they score again to make it 3 2 Matt then pulls off a save from point blank range to Deny BL an equaliser that they probably deserved,all in all a great game and a very hard earned 3 points, come on you Fizzers.

 

Whats happening to Baddy Lea now 10th with their decent budget and all the players they got plus the others on loan ? Something's not right.......any comments In the Know ? Currently they are certainly underachieveing........strange !

What does having a budget got to do with anything? We at south park have no budget but currently sitting in 7th place and playing well while having some injury and suspension problems so budget has nothing to do with it. Maybe badshot arent playin well at the moment or maybe te other team was better on the day in this case sandhurst were and got the points. I'm sure duncs and the management have something to do with this.

Don't see why there always has to be a reason for a teams current bad performances?

 

We at Croydon don't have budget and now up to 9th, but we have great team spirit and the boyz play for each other sometimes player are only turning up to be paid, don't know why can't see it being alot but if there is alot of loaned players in can unsettle a team each week.

What was your opinion of the two Farnham penalty appeals before Ash scored?

 

As Smudge says, I love a pen, but there was nothing in either of the Farnham appeals.

 

Handball: Not deliberate.

 

'Push': It's just momentum, the opponent has gone down looking for it, IMHO.

 

To the credit of the players, after the initial shouts, they left it at that, so they didn't really want it. Good sporting attitude!

Not that I expected a different response but behave! Look at your footage again, 1-Arm moves towards the ball 2- Pushers player over in the penalty area!!! Both pens!

Are you now saying that all the players should continue to appeal and get in the officials face to force the decision?

Some poor quality phone footage from yesterday's South Park v Horley Town derby shows the Horley goal (binoculars required), a great save from BlueandWhiteArmy's header just before he was crocked and the 88th minute equaliser. Sadly didn't get the winner.

make that 3 weeks Duncs now 3 on the trot for us........just abit of luck going our way & putting the chances away which we wasn't doing before. We had a young new squad at the start of the season & its taken a while to settle in at a higher level of football, but hopefully now they have got use to the level they need to play at & with senior players coming back from injuries we can continue climbing the table (especially on monday when your at the new look wembley pitch lol)

was at lammas verses sports today and have to agree with most of wots been said ,

very even first half with lammas looking dangerous at set pieces but afraid they have to adapt their tactics

as playing long balls against the best two centre halves and poss the best back five in the league is not gonna work,

and also they are a decent footballing side when they shorten their game but saying that sports always looked dangerous and mixed up

there game very well, sports different side second half and upped there tempo which lammas struggled to deal with and there quality and fitness took control and could and should of won alot more comfortably imo . good game with some good battles on the pitch ,thoroughly enjoyed game .

Agree all of this we weathered the storm but only one real chance for lammas that could of been scored the rest a couple of scrambles in the box! Just think second half we were to good for them, lammas used to be a footballing side an when they did get the ball down an moved it they looked alot better !!

On a completely separate point, many congrats to South Park and Horley for producing an impressive attendance. Haven't watched the video yet but I expect that it was an entertaining and competitive game. And get fit soon BAWA.

Knaphill 1-2 Westfield

 

Firstly thoughts are with the Knaphill player and his family for their tragic loss over Christmas.

 

Nota great game. Typical scrapy derby. We started awfully and fell behind early on to a penalty. Never in a million years handball but it was the first of several strange decesions from the match official. We gradually came into the game and deservedly drew level before the break.

 

Second half another disjointed display from us but we looked the more likely to score and did so 20 min from time through intershiminter -I'm sure he'll come on here and clear up if it was handball or not

 

We saw out the rest of the game quite comfortably. Not a great performance but did enough to win

 

 

Knaphill defender poked an arm out to push the ball away and it hit me (also on the arm / chest, arms were by my side so would be ball to hand). Turned and lashed it home and let the officials decide. No real compliants that I saw form Knaphill but I did have nine blues bundled on top of me at the time.

Already done so ! What is it, why don't pepple read my previous posts which says it all, yet no-one from Windsor has denied it, so............ come out of the closet instead of saying your budget is small....far from it, in comparison to CCL level. It is really okay to have a big budget, but agree as opposed to trying to hide behind smoke screens saying it's not....be honest, we still love you !

Talking of which, a massive boost in attendances in CCL and Ryman over the festive periods, with alot of attendance records broken.....so well done to all....I think the mild weather helped...........lol !
